What is included in the fee and what is billed separately?

The fixed fee covers every service task: contracts, payroll processing, filings, HR administration, reporting and account management. Billed separately, at cost and itemised, are the employee's gross salary, employer Provident Fund contributions, gratuity and bonus accruals, insurance premiums, equipment, government fees and bank charges. Nothing else appears on the invoice.

What does one employee cost per month, all in?

For a software engineer on BDT 150,000 gross (about USD 1,250), the total monthly cost through Nexus Payroll is roughly BDT 181,500 plus USD 299: salary 150,000, employer PF 7,200, gratuity accrual 7,500, festival-bonus accrual 15,000 and group insurance 1,800. The employee's income tax is withheld from salary, not added to your cost.

The same employee through a global platform charging USD 599 costs the same statutory amounts plus a fee roughly double ours. Through your own entity, the statutory amounts are identical and the USD 299 is replaced by a share of the entity's fixed overhead — which is why the crossover only arrives at 35–50 employees.

USD conversion at an illustrative BDT 120 per USD; your invoice uses the interbank rate on the day.

Pricing FAQ

Is there a set-up fee or minimum contract term?

No set-up fee and no minimum term. The service agreement runs month to month and ends on 30 days written notice from either side. The only upfront amount is a refundable security deposit of one month's total employment cost, returned within 30 days of the final settlement.

What is billed at cost and how do we see it?

Gross salary, employer Provident Fund contributions, gratuity and festival-bonus accruals, insurance premiums, equipment and government fees are passed through at cost with no mark-up. Every invoice shows each line per employee, the FX rate applied and the tax withheld, and the monthly general-ledger file reconciles to it.

How and when do we pay?

You receive one invoice in USD, EUR, GBP or AUD around the 25th of each month for that month's payroll and fees, payable by wire within seven days so salaries can be disbursed on the last working day. The security deposit covers timing gaps; late funding never delays an employee's salary.

Are there discounts for larger teams?

Yes. The EOR fee drops to USD 249 per employee at ten or more employees, and managed teams of 25+ are quoted as a single monthly fee. Recruitment success fees are discounted 25% when the hire is employed through our EOR.
